Six degrees of freedom
An aircraft can move along three axes and turn about the same three. A multirotor makes all six with nothing but four motor speeds.
0 of 6 demonstrated
Surge: Forward / back along the nose
Rear motors speed up, front motors slow: the nose tips down, the thrust leans forward, and its forward part accelerates the aircraft.
Try: Right stick forward (↑ or I)
Challenge: Fly forward at 3 m/s or more
Aircraft & controls
Keyboard: W/S climb, A/D yaw, arrows (or I J K L) pitch and roll. A game controller works too (Mode 2). Acro mode does not level itself — throttle is the left stick’s height.
